...on your must-see list:
Quebec city!I don't know, how it is possible to have an extraordinary beautiful, European city in the middle of north-America, but it exist! It is called Quebec City, the capital of the french-speaking Quebec province in Canada.
The whole province is somewhat surreal. As soon as you cross the border, the bread starts to have crunchy crust, the cheese has flavor, the shop windows look actually inviting..and nobod

y speaks English and they drive like crazy. After seeing all this, I am crying, why, why on Earth couldn't at least the neighboring provinces learn or import some of this taste? Just a tiny bit? Please? You know, I thought, style and taste must have been left behind when first settlers came and people just didn't have time to reinvent them since. But this isn't the case! It is here, nearby, available, adjusted to this climate. I don't get it. And I want to go back. I really should go on with my French studies. (The only french sentence I know would not work here-it is still north-America:)))
Anyways, you really have to see this city.

OK, it's no the list :-)
Looks like I have to go to Canada anyway, if I want to see you before next summer (or next Xmas? geez). But at least I will have twice as many people to see! :-)
Next Xmas is more likely, now I will have a good excuse not to go and survive the jet-lag and the relative-visiting rounds...
You (any of you!) are welcome anytime, I just have to warn you that the nights won't be very quiet around and after February...
I might be able to arrange something in a friend's house in case...
They went to pray for a little sister or brother to the Notre Dame, when on the way out a tourist from Quebec just fell on Amelie's mother when committing suicide from the roof and killed her.
How are the tourists in Quebec?
I will come. And visit. And they will go to see the ski jumps and we will talk with Nana ... in winter in 2.5 years. I hardly wait. :S
The fact is that Quebec and my hometown (and the location of the Winter Games) are approximately 6 hours away. By air plain.
So be prepared: if you come to visit me and the games, you might not see Quebec.
Just like me, when I go home to Hungary, I don't plan to include a trip to Oslo (though I would love to..)
Why on earth would you go to Oslo when I live in Belgium???!!?.?
Because we would have met in Bp already!
