This picture was taken last November, on the day when aliens from Tralfamador (God bless you, Mr. Vonnegut!) attacked Vancouver.
The place is called Spanish Bay, which is 15 minutes drive from our place (a couple more from these pictures and you'll get the exact coordinates of our home).
Special dedication to Tarelle....it is worth to read the older posts again...

And what did they do, these aliens? Trying to communicate by the means of farting and tap-dance? :-)
(My favourite quote, for your information: :-)
"This little alien came to earth to tell the humans about the cure for cancer and the secret to space travel. The little alien communicated by means of farting and tap dancing. He landed where he saw a bright light, which turned out to be a house on fire. The little alien rushed into the house to warn of the fire, farting and tap dancing, when the owner brained him with a nine iron. This, gentle readers, is why we are stuck here on earth and still get cancer.")
:)))))))))))))))
Was it Vonnegut or wasn't when very mean aliens came with enormous power but they looked like koalas and nobody took them serious so they destroyed the Earth eventually? Or was it the excellent Kilgore Trout himself?
I guess Vancouver is occupied by skunk-shaped aliens and we are cohabitating, more or less peacefully.
Sometimes it is a bit unpleasant but it could be worse...
Back to some older posts as well::
I just met a college, we talked about fishing. He said it is like yoga: there is one exercise when one looks at the water. The explanation is that it makes one find peace with time's passing by.
Koxkitty could tell, if she managed to make comments finally :P
I am fishing recently too.
What I like about it, that it is peaceful but always have the chance that something exciting will happen and that prevents you from getting bored.
And, even if you don't catch anything, birds and other animals are coming and going and you have the time and opportunity to stay in one place and discover your surroundings, as you did (at least me) when you were a child.
You scare me, you know, you all... I admire your patience and zenitude... But give me more Vonnegut!!! I love it.
Join the club!
He is my hero of the recent times, he knows everything!
Still he likes life and people, though he has no illusions at all.
I mean, he had.
That makes me remind to one of my favorite sayings:
Friends are the people who know you and still love you.
More or less, there are better persons out there to translate it...
