Man needed!

Tarelle, where are you?
I have a nice iPod and a nice Linux.
Apple doesn't believe wine that it was Windows.
Nice sentence :) HILFE.

I don't understand a single word of it, but I hope that you will.

I didn't publish it because I feel myself a man, but because of the "hilfe".
And because I MUST write something.

Thank you :)
This is what I am afraid to do with the iPod - redefining the file system. There must be an elegant way.
I thought Tarelle would know the answer, thats only why man was used.

It's good to know that I am observed :D
Thank you again ;)

Dear i,

To tell you my level of proficiency with linux: I was not sure what Wine was... but now I do! Well, my first guess would be to try and install an older version of iTunes, like the latest 6 version (find it here). You use a windows version of iTunes on top of Wine, right?

My second guess would be to try this tutorial. although it says it was not tested for iPod, i might be worth a try. Even with iTunes 7!
Tell me if this worked...
Bisous sur le ventre,
Tarelle

O, well, and about the reformatting iPod stuff, it should always be possible to revert to "factory state" with the iPod updater, in the (hopefully) worst case by setting it to "disk mode" and plugging it to any windows or mac PC.

... unless it really goes to crap. Btw, which model of iPod is it? -- and what colour? :-)

you got i confused. she doesn't dare to answer :-)

Don't be shy, i, and tell me the colour of you iPod! :-)

And did the "iTunes v.6 trick" work?
"Cheers" as they say around here.
