I'm off to Germany in about an hour (if I don't miss the plane). It is so ironic: I am supposed to give a presentation tomorrow and I have just lost my voice completely this morning...maybe if I re-baptise it "Whispering Winds" they won't notice?

Imagine not being able to eat from a 12-sorts-of-fruit, all-kinds-of-marmelade/pastry /meat/ etc. breakfast-buffet table (du to intensive throat-ache)...I know now what real torture is like.
I was officially proclaimed a hero for giving an attempt to tell my presentation - as I still cannot talk, this seems like a small miracle! But I am alive and it is already something :-)
