I mentioned the book I read about insomnia. The most interesting part of it was that the main characters were all old. These people behaved so differently from those I know. They were driving cars, eating icecream just because they liked it, playing chess in the parks (and saving the world eventually but it's off my point). It made me wonder, how I will behave thirty-forty years from now. Will I travel around the world with a group of old fellows (preferably you :)), or, sitting at home surrounded with cats and dogs and grandchildren? Riding Harley Davidson and going to the Gerbeaud to pick up young boys?
Do you plan anything for your pensioner years? (I think I will have dog only then.)
Which type of old lady or man do you plan to be?

Why is this question? You all know I'll be sitting on the terasse of my hillside hotel in New Zealand (overlooking MtCook) and fixing you cocktails (and nice fatty meals)? You are welcome anytime!
Well, actually it's better to ring before you come as I might hop over to Paris to see some plays and a couple of operas...once in a while.
Eeer .... I hope I die first, so I wont be alone :)
Otherwise I think yes, a combination of Harley Davidson, chess and confectioners. No young boys, just mine - the one will necessarily be a partner for old years stupidity.
One day later ... :)
I hope I'll be a calm and nice old lady, who enjoys the bonus things like traveling, swimming free :)
It is nice to think about it :) I remember that nana told, that they already have enough plans ... now I can also start to collect them.
You don't need one for New Zealand - I'll just pick you up at the airport and you don't have to worry about anything! :-)
I'v taken New Zealand already granted.
Yes, it is true that we have many plans for the old ages(and plural really makes a difference here). We want to have the dog(s) than, a big enough farmyard for a ginea-pig flock (or whatever they form). Having a long and slow-paced ship-tour to Alaska (and other places as well.
Also, a log-house at a lake with a sauna, so you can jump directly into the lake itself.
Fishing and photographing along Canada, visiting all the lakes which were not even have named yet.
You don't have to beold for these, but it seems, we won't have enough time to enjoy them before we retire (since I will be a dean which is a very responsible position).
But. I never thought about pensioner years as useful, valuable things untill now.
I just can't decide that this is because I crossed XXX last year already, or because the different atmosphere over here.
but OF COURSE it is because you're over the 3X :-D
By the way, are the guinea-pigs there to scare me way? I am still allergic to them.
Oh I forgot that.
Don't worry, they gonna rumbling around the backyard, so you don't have to sniff them.
:)))))
Now I imagined you sniffing guinea-pigs :))))
